Style and comfort in the heart of Moravia

Penzion Lederer offers modern design, comfortable rooms and an ideal starting point for discovering the beauties of South Moravia

History

The Lederer Guesthouse is located in the Mikulov wine region, specifically in the village of Dolní Dunajovice. The house was built in the 1890s by the Lederer family, who had lived in Dolní Dunajovice for centuries. Its members were local mayors or magistrates. The renowned Austrian historian Hans Lederer was born in the house, who did not forget his birthplace even after being deported and was an important patron of Dolní Dunajovice and an honorary citizen of the village until his death.

Every detail tells a story

As part of the renovation of the house, we kept the original exterior window frames. We used some of the wooden beams used as decoration in the rooms from the original roof. We saved the original floorboards to cover the wall in the garden. As part of the renovation, we also recycled the original doors and the attic bricks that you will see on the basement floor. We also emphasized modern technology, which is why access to the building is digital.

What else is good to know?

The Lederer Guesthouse offers convenient parking and secure bike storage with charging sockets for e-bikes. Guests can enjoy free WiFi, and all rooms are non-smoking. There is a wine cellar, a kitchen for a surcharge, and an outdoor terrace with a gas grill and a ping pong table. The Lederer Bistro is also open on weekends, ideal for relaxing and tasting local wines.
